I.Q. test?

If this 1978 Redline Proline is to this 2008 FBM Exodus:
Then, this 1977 Schwinn Typhoon is to this 2008 Diamond Back Overdrive...

You with me so far?
I took more heat about selling my CB than I expected. Like the old Redline above, which to me is the epitome of cool BMX bikes, the old Honda looks rad and has style. Also like the Redline, the brakes suck, the seat moves around and you're never sure if the drive train is going to fall to pieces between your legs. The FBM is solid. I don't tighten the headset with my hand before each lap and the fear of catastrophic equipment failure is pretty low on my list of concerns. And like the Schwinn, the wheels on the CB are a little wobbly and it's hard to get going, but once it is hauling ass, it's very difficult to slow down. The Diamond Back is the ultimate transportation bicycle. It goes fast, effortlessly, handles well and stops on a dime. It's also pretty dorky looking.
All that said, I offer the final I.Q. test question: A 1976 Honda CB 550 is to this?

Kind of. A small four-stroke Honda fits in my van, starts right up, hauls me and a little kid easily around the yard and feels like a BMX bike (which could be good or bad). We like Vroom vrooms around here...
