two and a half years later...

I pulled a foot jam tailwhip straight to the pedals. Ridiculous that it's taken this long, but it still felt awesome. I've done lots of them where I touch the top tube with my toe and I blame this on the learning route I took. Back when I was 40, I wrecked my shoulder trying to ride trails. As I started to heal, I built up a flatland bike and whiplashes and any kind of tailwhip were high on my list of "must learns". I accomplished the goal pretty quickly but when I started translating the trick to banks I brought along my bad flatland habit. DeGryse coached me a bit today at Kzoo and that was it. This is the next trick I want to land. It's taken me even longer to progress in this arena, but I am determined to get my chops in line

Yeah dude! Good to see there's life in us old dogs yet! Gives me hope for dialling in stuff too!

You probably won't ever let me refer to myself as an old dude. However, as one "age-ing hipster", I must say that's rad you landed it. Oh, and I've been trying that trick off and on for 10 years and never got one... So now you get to teach me, guy.

The 6 string has haunted me for 22 years. I have to completely WORK for it, there seems to be zero natural ability in my fingers? Les Paul for sale.
