I've loved the Deluxe frames since I first saw them. I built up this 21.25 V-brake edition last week and it is amazing. It's long and lean, pulls up easy and handles so well. I've never felt so instantly comfortable on a bike. I was a little sketched on the V brakes but at the jumps, they work better than "U-brakes" anyway. They kinda suck for manuals, but man do they stop. This feels like a race bike, but is much more nimble and easy riding. I frickin' love it. I don't feel like I've been kidding myself by riding more "modern" bikes, but this thing is all me.
I also received the Deluxe video yesterday. It was so nice to sit down on the couch and watch an actual DVD on the TV. Trails are what it is...

That thing is sweet. Props on maning up and getting the Vbrake model. First one ive seen.
You did go V! It will be fun watching you adjust and learning to manual with 'em. If the race crowd can do it, you should be fine (or, no brake manual).
Like yer new bike. Except it doesn't look like the new stem is on there yet. C'mon McGoo, hook the man up already.
