metal flake open face helmet sure does its part to put the "MX" in BMX. I wish more 20-inchers would rock the '70s skid lid instead of the '90s skate lid. Seems more rootsy and rad, and I'm not just saying that because I know a cool place to buy helmets. I've always been afraid of tearing off my ears. Not sure why, but it seems like it could happen. classic open face helmets would mitigate such macabre fiascos.
